Album Design

This project involved visualizing album covers for fictional bands whose names came from randomized Wikipedia searches. The goal was to successfully depict through typography and image the bands genre.

Vitreous Hemorrhage - Pointing Back at You

Vitreous Hemorrhage was a name that immediately pointed to a Hard Rock or Metal genre of music. The design process utilized a creative logo or stamp that could be applied to all the albums. The genres chosen eventually became more Alternative Rock and Grunge.

Goto Gumi - Are No Certain Answers

Goto Gumi pointed directly toward the J-Rock or J-Pop style of music. The subject matter allowed for more liberal typography choices. The genres depicted were Independent J-Rock and Electronic/Trance.
